It's the holidays and you known what that means. Time to meet the parents of your boyfriend. Yikes. It hard to impress ones family especially if you feel like your boyfriend is well liked more than you. However that isn't the case here. We start to understand in this book more who and why is Lucas the way he is within the wolf class. I mean who doesn't feel like a black sheep in the family.I have come to love this series even if it's the second book. I tend to feel and empathize the main character between himself and his family. As you read it, it gets you in the gut. And that excludes that one hot and passionate scene near the end. Noah Harris did a better job in his writing format than he did with the first book. It wasn't as clustered together. So 9 out of 10.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I probably grinned throughout the book and I genuinely, thoroughly enjoyed it. It focuses more on Lucas' identity and view of himself. Surrounded by Alpha brothers and raised by an Alpha dad, he doesn't want to be weak. Somehow, this is relate-able and striking. He brings Dean home with him as a friend, afraid of his father's reaction. Things might not go according to plan exactly but it turns out to be a fun read. It was short, yet the characters were charming and the story, involving. I just wish it was longer, and we could take our time watching things develop! A good book that might put you in a better mood.

I can't wait for the next instalment. The characters in this book are wonderful and you can't help but become hooked on knowing them and watching them grow. I suggest you give this book a read you will become as hooked as I am can't wait for the next one enjoy.
I liked it just like the first it is just explains more the relationship of Lucas and Dean. It was more of Dean meeting the parents. At first it looked like Dean wanted control but he really cares about Lucas, And Alex and Martin becoming involved I hope that you put them more in the story putting something about them but not taking anything about Lucas and Dean. I hope that you write more about this people or characters.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I've learned now that before I start any book by Mr. Harris to make sure I have at least an hour to spare because once I start I want to finish. This was a great detour from the usual shifter world were its always about fighting and death, although I was waiting for the other shoe to drop! I was on a total emotional roller coaster, this series made me feel like I was part of the story it self. It was so pasionate, compelling and heart felt. A highly recommended read!

First of all I feel so stupid for avoiding this because I thought there were actual zombies--I had never heard of the game. It was enjoyable to see the growing depth of Dean (who I like much better than I did in the first book) and Lucas's relationship. The trip home was great; Lucas was hilarious and it was full of holiday warm fuzzies (with a hot sex scene thrown in!) There is less about the game and more about Alex and Marty's growing relationship. I'm eager to read the next installment of the serial even though I generally dislike serial stories.

dean usually spend the holidays alone but now that he and lucas are dating, lucas dosen't want dean to be all alone so he decides to invite him home to spend the holidays with him. the thing is lucas's family dosent know that he is dating much less dating a guy. also lucas dosent want to admit that he is an omega because he believes that omegas are weak but he is wrong and dean intends to show him that.
also how are they suppose to spend the holidays together and not touch each other, but after the run with the family proves too much and they end up not being able to resist.

This is the second book in the Humans vs. Zombies Series. I loved this book. In this book, Dean and Lucas are still figuring out their new relationship. Lucas has always been told that he was a beta by his family and Dean has thrown him for a loop when he called Lucas an Omega. Lucas is shocked and in denial. When winter break comes around and Lucas is getting ready to go home, he realizes that Dean is just going to stay at the school until school starts up again. So Lucas invites Dean to come with him. Lucas wants to keep their relationship secret from his family and so only tells them that he is bringing a friend. However, he forgets to mention that his friend is an Alpha and so Dean ends up getting tested by Lucas father first and then his brothers. He passes their tests and is welcomed into the family. When they all shift and run on Thanksgiving night Dean proves that Lucas is an Omega by not being able to talk to him in wolf form and having to shift back to human to talk to him. After having a passionate encounter in the barn, it kind of gets out that they are in a relationship and Lucas family is okay with it so long as Dean remembers that Lucas is in school so that he can have a better life than his family. I thought that this was a great addition to the series. I loved learning more about Lucas family and meeting his brothers. I kind of hope that Noah does a spin off series about Lucas brothers finding their omegas. I would like to get to know them a little better. Thanks, Noah for a great addition to the series.
